E-BUSINESS ASSOCIATE

Eagle Publishing, Inc. is looking for an E-Business Associate skilled in web, ad and email design who is also proficient in HTML to help fulfill our dynamic online marketing initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role for this family friendly, philosophically conservative company that has been a political institution for over 65 years.

This is an exciting position that is tailor-made for an organized e-business professional that really enjoys putting their creativity to work.

Your experience should include:

  • Landing page design and development
  • Display ad campaigns (GIF, JPG, Flash)
  • Website design and improvements
  • Proficiency in HTML (hand-coded preferred) and some experience building and maintaining websites
  • Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop)
  • Ability to deliver quality creative under deadline and with minimal supervision

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Eagle Publishing Inc, a premier financial and political publishing company, is seeking recent college graduates or experienced Customer Service Professionals for a full time position as Customer Account Coordinator & Order Processor.

The Customer Account Coordinator position consists of a variety of duties which include answering incoming customer service calls, responding to customer emails, service letters and faxes, as well as offering customer up-sells products. The Order Processing duties include importing batches of internet orders and address changes, along with data entry of mail orders.

We are seeking an individual who are organized, has great attention to detail, and is a positive team player. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer savvy, and outstanding problem solving skills. Bachelor degree is preferred.

The core hours for this position will be 7AM-3:30PM; however, flexibility is required for this position as later shifts may be necessary, dependant upon workload.

Our office is conveniently located close to Capitol Hill and is one block from Union Station.

DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

In search of a Digital Marketing executive with strong SEO experience. Seeking a savvy marketer with deep search experience looking to grow their skill set by supporting multiple media properties. Working in conjunction with Eagle's various marketing directors; this individual will set Eagle's digital marketing strategy, oversee management of all aspects of the company's search marketing efforts and lead development of processes and systems necessary to establish a world-class search marketing capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Set overall search marketing strategy for each of the company's lines of business.
  • Oversee search initiatives to support existing and new lines of business as they are developed.
  • Develop mechanisms to quantify and measure the impact of SEO efforts, both strategic and tactical, in order to capitalize on opportunities and drive efficiencies in the channel.
  • Work with marketing, product development, IT and leadership teams to set goals, refine strategy, and drive performance vs. goals.
  • Monitor paid and organic search engine results rankings for all of the company's web sites and key competitors and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Stay abreast of changes in search engine algorithms and determine implications on the company's natural search program.
  • Research emerging technologies for opportunities to improve internal tools and capabilities.
  • Manage outside vendors and serve as the liaison between outside services and internal stakeholders

The candidate must have:

  • Passion for Conservative politics and the stock market
  • Experience working for a top web property (1- 3 years)
  • 3+ years of search engine optimization experience across all major search engines.
  • Advanced knowledge of paid and organic search marketing/SEO strategies and tactics
  • Proven ability to establish key performance indicators to measure success vs. key objectives, and oversee development of reporting mechanisms.
  • Deep understanding of web site usability, design, and A/B and multivariate testing techniques.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills.
  • Clear understanding of ROI analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, both internally and externally, while also providing the domain expertise to lead, develop and inspire team members at various levels of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA or MS preferred).
